Climbing in Maple Canyon, Utah
Overview:

Maple Canyon is located just outside of Ephraim, Utah about 2 hours from Salt Lake City. The rock type is conglamerate which means you are pulling on cobbles, or where cobbles have fallen out. This area is home to what could be the longest, steepest route in North America...
You can find a slightly outdated topo at Dr. Topo

Info:
Directions
To get to Maple Canyon from Salt Lake City drive south on the I-15 until Nephi. Take exit 225 south east towards Ephraim/Manti. In Fountain Green you'll see a sign for Maple Canyon, just start following those.
From Ephraim you head back along the 132 to Moroni. In Moroni you'll see a sign saying 'Maple CNYN', go slightly left there.

Camping, food, water
There's camping right in the Canyon and it's pretty good but there's no running water and the outhouses can get a little smelly. You can bring a big water jug and fill it up in Moroni - right under a big sign across the streen from where the 132 splits to Mt. Pleasant and Ephraim.
For food you have to check out Fat Jack's Pizza in Ephraim. It's good! That and there's a great ice cream place right next door.
Groceries can be purchased at Kent's at the far end of Ephraim, or if you are really desperate at Wal-mart.
Showers and a library can be found in Ephraim at the Snow College. The library also has 24 hour unencrypted wireless for all the techies out there.

Pipe Dream Cave:
Here's some photos of a route called Le Spunk on the left side of the cave.

The main cave is so steep and featured you have to come up with some creative rests:

This is me on a route called T-Rex. I had redpointed Mexican Rodeo the day before and had done Millenium a few years ago. It goes all the way out...

Here's Pete Lindgren on Whole Shot which he redpointed later in the day.
